Is there a little bit of Jesse James in you? Or you just liked the bad guys in the western movies more? Facinated by the 19th Century? Or just want to explore some new places and stores with western sims and gifts? Or not in the mood for a christmasy hunt yet? Whatever the reason might be - you should definatley check out the Outlaws and Bandits Hunt. It's a small hunt with only 15 Stores - well 12 now actually if you check the blog. But I loved this hunt - I changed my wardrobe with every new gift went from a victorian lady to a cowgirl and last to a bank robber outlaw girl ;) I loved all the gifts from all the designers and to explore new places and SIMs. So step back in time while you gather up your strength for all the christmas hunt coming your way.

Nikita from Grimalkin Workshops was found guilty of spoiling her freebie hunters ones again with this great Bedblogger Hunt gift - I love it - Thank you so much Nikita. I am sure not only the bloggers among us know this picture of themself ;-) . The bed comes in two versions and is wearable - which makes this to a flying bed as well for you to travel the wonderworld of SL in :-)

The Bedblogger is modifiable too, so you can add your own image to your laptop screen, like a screenshot from your own blog, tint the blanket and make so your own special bed. Be sure though to make a back up copy if something goes wrong and you want the orginal bed back ;-)

Hunt Object - Baby Bottle

(Hunt runs from July 15th - August 31st)

This probably the first Maternity/Nursery Hunt in SL - organized by Morgana Shi. The start location is at the Rock a Bye Maternity Clinic and you are looking for a baby bottle either as sculptie or as a picture. The Hunt Blog not only has the SLURLs to all the shops but also hints. There are 21 stores plus 2 bonus stores on the hunt. Shop #20 is closed at the moment.

I think it´s quite interesting to see this side of SL and discover shops selling maternity clothes and nursery furnitures - there are some cute little stores among the participants and not only gifts for mothers to be.

Note: Be sure to make a folder and organize as you hunt - since gifts either come in folder or as objects and only few folders have the object number in their names. So I hope I got my numbering correct on the pictures. Due to lag and SL in general - transactions can be slow in showing up in your inventory (you might accidently buy the object too many times and be waiting for a folder to show up but not an object in your object folder).

The organizer and group is very helpfull and friendly. if you have any questions or remarks. Store #20 is closed at this moment. Beside that one - every hunt gift is out and easy to find :-)

The hunt startet July 15th and stays out August (last day August 31st).

One store is definately going on my little black list - with a hunt so short and 50 stores - I don´t know why it´s participating on a hunt if it firstly minimizes the house and then hides it miles away from the start location and on first day after few hours of hunters hunting - moves the object as well so nobody finds it in this giant store. That´s just unsporty. I am sure you all know what store I am talking about so here is the LM to store #12 *g*

Hunt Object is a cute little grey house with a brown roof. Most houses are near the landing point and easy to find. Please join the group to be updated and get help and hints. There are alot of people on the hunt now and no wonder cause the prizes are great and the hunt is fun to do. It´s great to do a hunt that well organized on day one. Of course some shops are always sleepy putting out their things but skippers are updated regulary so nobody needs to be stuck. So even if it´s only 7 days - you have plenty of time finishing.

Now to the SL Hunt Mellow Yellow - Gifts are suppose to have the colours yellow and/or green in them - hence the name. So if you don´t like those colours - I guess this hunt isn´t for you ;-)

It´s a nicely organized hunt with a blog with slurls and hints to every store - One is actually a cheat hint - but I´m not saying what number ;-) [Mellow Yellow Hunt Blog] On day one some stores weren´t set to buy - but now they are all ready for you to pick up :-D When you do hunts you come across many stores more than ones - and you kinda now - oh this will be a hard one. On this hunt there are stores like that - one in particular that is giant and hides their gifts so that nobody stays less than one hour searching for it in their store - and it´s very frustrating when you then find it at last - with zoomtechniques that are out of this world (I just say poor newbies that try searching there for a hunt object) - well then after long long searching - you find your can at last (yes you are looking for yellow soda cans on this hunt) - you just have to scream out loud - cause it isn´t set to buy. OK location noted - Ill be back tomorrow. Next day - you land in the store and run down to the place the can was the day before - but hey - is SL wrong? Why aint I seeing it today? WHAT? it´s gone - after waiting hours for the yesterday can to rezz - you figure maybe I check the hint again - naaaa they can´t have moved it - that´s just too cruel. WHAT there is a new hint - now the searching starts again - at last you do find the can on it´s new place and THANK GOD it´s set to buy now. This gotta be good and worth it all - anyone needs a beanbag? ;-)

I IMd the owner (I know DO NOT BOTHER THE PARTICIPATING VENDORS on a hunt). Well I am doing alot of hunts and I just wanted to let the owner know - that it was kinda cruel and that many hunters will scream and get nasty probably too and even boycott that D%&%&/ Store. I was very polite and she was online - but did I get an answear? NOOOOOO.... I´ve been very patient about this store - that is on sooo many hunts - but I´m thinking in the future if there is a possibility to jump to the next store after this one - I will do so. A Hunt is a Hunt and not a Buffet but still it´s called a hunt and not "mission impossible"

Crossing my fingers (yeah that´s another reason why I haven´t been around much lately - but hey I´m just a girl with 22 young footballers running around - and tearing of their T shirts in the end ;-). but be carefull all that hunting and all those places to eat makes you both hungry and is bad for your curves ;-)

I wouldn´t be me if I didn´t have something negative to say - LOL - the SIM did crash me millions of times and was laggy and that did the hunt a bit difficult for me (mostly crashing between TPs to the 3 places)- could be my PC though or my big hair *lol* so I´m not withdrawing any points off cause of that. The hunt was fun to do but for my opinion there where too many stations to find for the 12 gifts (around 24) so if you don´t have alot of time (hence hunt runs only till the 13th of June - whish it would be more time) it could get tight. But I took my camera with me my new hair (groupgift) from Bliss couture and wearing the dress from the I feel like dancing hunt and shoes ;-) btw. great things on that hunt - worth doing and hunt gifts aren´t hard to find. Hope the pictures help you find the right guys ;-)

Well enough blabbing, enjoy the picture show I did of the "guys" I met during the hunt that either gave me a present or just babbled with me something in japanese I didn´t understand LOL and I did need some food breaks since it took me almost the whole day... yummy cupcakes

The hunt goes over 3 SIMs Artstyle - Rmart - Shitano-Machi (shown in different colours on your hud - such are the hints so you know where to look - just click on the hud to TP) and you get a hud from this Furry over here (see picture) click him twice then wear the hud and click him again (note the hud is huge but you can easily click on it to make it smaller).

It´s a japanese hunt - so most of the "guys" you meet on it speak japanese but they do however give you gifts and clues to the next "guy" in english on your hud. So no worries. At first it´s a bit confusing - since all infos are in japanese - after calling Anna from the mall she helpd me abit on my first stops till I had my first crash of many - big thank you to Anna

I know I will come back to this sim if only for some photo shooting.

The Rocket FM SIM have a lot of places to kill the small hunger that grows while hunting. After a while I really needed Coffee and startet screaming for it LOL thank god there was a Starbucks just around the corner to calm my coffein thirst - but did those cupcakes look yummy ;-)

After some sugar and coffein shock I got a bit calmer - later I stopped by this sushi place for a taste of some original japanese sushi but all I got was some strange fish on rice

A part of the hunt I was lucky to be able to take the tube - but oh man these japanese ticket machines are human eater - look at me omg I guess it didn´t like the fish taste (or maybe too much sugar and coffein) so it spit me out again in the Tube

Hunting can be a big risk sometimes - look for yourself

But even my hair still looked great after I got on the tube - what a miracle or was it my Hairspray at work here ;-) I bet you wanna know it´s name now

But you wont believe what I found as I got out of the Tube - I bet all you Lost fans out there remember the name of the airplane company that crashed on that Island - unless they didn´t have a second plane that went down that year - I might have found the one

The Pilot did though only babble something in japanese so I couldn´t ask him if he knew where the Island was and the Jungle with Jake, Kate and co.

The sun was setting it was almost dinner time (at least my tummy was making noices after searching for Jack, Kate and co. for hours) luckly I found this small local - they where however short on personal so I did some work behind the counter - which was good since I wanted to have something I knew what ingredients it was made out of - definately bringing a dictionary with me nex time ;-)

I feel like Dancing in the 70ies

With this afro hair (groupgift in store from Bliss Couture and wearing that little black dress (#12) from the I feel like Dancing Hunt (start)- I truly can hear the sound of the seventies sneaking up on me. I know this hair has been blogged alot lately - but I didn´t wanna be a party breaker LOL just ignore it and see the whole picture ;-)

The I Feel Like Dancing Hunt is running out this month (end June 30th) and it´s so worth it to do it - both you guys and us girls get something to wear plus funny dance AO, Dance Huds and nice stuff like self dancing shoes so I mention some. I whish I had more time so I could show you all of the gifts - but I started to do this other japanese hunt (Rocket FM Hunt) and it kinda stole my day away - but I am pretty sure you wont be sorry if you do decide on doing the I feel like dancing hunt). Only 57 stores and well organized plus the hunt objects are easy to spot since they are huge discoballs. Maybe I will drop a picture or two of some more gifts from this hunt - but I´m not promicing anything since I am gonna have a couple of busy RL weeks coming up - but in a good way ;-).

Worth mentioning is this month Star Builder Hunt - most gifts are textures or sculpted maps - but some animations are among the gifts and the best part they are all full perm. It´s nice to discover more shops selling textures or sculpted prims and maps - so if you are a pro or just wanna try out some building in SL this hunt is for you. Note next month there will be Texturemania hunt as well.

Negative about this hunt is that the gifts come in as objects or only as folder marked SSBH Object - so this one needs good organizing as you hunt along. Click on this link for the Hunt Blog (BLOG) Here you can find a list of all shops with slurls to get over to them and hints as well - note some places do have up to date hints by the landing point or a star path to your gift. Stars are easy (mostly) to find and you see alot of new stores along the way :) don´t forget those MM Boards ;-)

At this years Cannes Film Festival there is a screening of a film called R U There and takes place partly in Second Life. It´s a Dutch/French production about a young professional gamer, played by Stijn Koomen (Stages), who travels around the world to play in videogame competitions. The real world holds no appeal for him; he lives his life in virtual reality, where he is fully in control. When he witnesses a serious accident in the street, his life is shaken up and he begins to doubt the certainties of his existence. R U There is a film about the first global generation of youngsters whose lives are dominated by virtual reality. A film about the children of Google, YouTube and Second Life.

It´s a Love Story where Second Life plays a big part :-) can´t wait to see second life on the big screen - her avi looks cute don´t you think?

But I thought it would be nice to have an extra blog with all my SL travelling and pictures - so that finding that place again where I took that cool picture of ... would be easier to find and to share. This is Rozza´s Wirefly first hunt and the reason she is doing it is in Memory of her RL sister that past away - April 12th would have been her birthday and every year she does something special to remember her sister - this year it´s this hunt. This Hunt startet on March 13th and will go on till April 5th. There are many German Shops on this small Hunt (only 53 locations). But it´s not about quantity on this one, but about quality - I love all the gifts - thank you so much. I had some problems finding #2 (gotta look high for that one in a sneaky place) but most pink flowers you are searching for are easy to find - and you find flowerpaths in the stores - but be carefull there are some fakes out there and even fakes set to buy for 10L$. The organizers don´t whish for SLURLS to the shops to be given out - what I respect. Sadly there is no group for help on this hunt and the organizers blog does have few gifts from shops shown with slurls and a shop list - and I did use that one to be able to finish this hunt. If you get stuck - please leave me a comment on here or the shoutbox and I will whisper you the next location ;-)

I am on a netbook these days - big pc is having the flu. So as I finally found a viewer that runs on this thing - I decided to give it a try - my pick was the Rainbow Viewer and I read it was good for these netbooks - cause their graphic cards are a bit slower. Well the world did load, I didnt crash either, sorry for bad picture quality. I don´t have Photoshop on this thing so I used Pixlr online to crop the pictures and then added them in these frames on funny photo.

Well enjoy ;-) I hopefully will be back soon from mini to maxi ;-) untill then hugs and don´t give up on me

Pluto Memorial Hunt

This Hunt is dedicated to the 9th Planet of the solar system we all learnd about - well till August 24th 2006 when Pluto was no longer counted as a planet but as a dwarf planet. (Pluto still is a planet - read comment from Laurel :) thank you for this scientific explanation :-)
Negationix Nikolaidis is holding a Pluto Memorial Hunt at the combined stores of Iron Bird and SHD.
When you land (TP) you can easily find the telescope and the sign in front of it. Click it to receive your HUD to wear. Find all 9 planets hidden in both stores and the NC tells you where to find Pluto the 9th one ;-) When you find a planet - just touch it and the colour of your HUD will change. Find them all then go back to the telescope and now click on it and you will receive your price, which is brand new telescope (thats the hunt gift!) (identical to the model standing outside of the store). [Informations taken from the NC]

This angel/fairy like outfit is just one of 8 Gifts you can get for 1L$ each at Kouses Sanctum. The Avilion Peninsula sim is a wonderful Sim in winter wonderland look. There is a small hunt going on there with 7 hidden snowflakes around the sim - they are pretty big and in different colours so no problem to find. If you get them all - you can get an extra dress in black by putting all 7 snowflakes in a folder and name it Your Name Ice Hunt and send it back to Kouse Singh and she drops on you that special gift.
The Outift I am wearing is from snowflake #6. If you have a thing for lovely dresses (only this outfit is with wings) why wait - take the TP now untill it´s too late (I don´t know how long this will be going on!).

Paddy´s Night Out!

Paddy got very excited unpacking all those male gifts from the ongoing hunts. This time Vendors did think of the men ;-) most have unisex gifts or both for male and females :) YaY

Paddy is one of the music lovers in SL, clubs, concerts etc. that´s where you will spot him when there isn´t a male hunt going on ;-) Deep in his heart he has always dreamt of having his own band. In SL dreams can and do come true ;-) Paddy has his own band now. They call it "Me Myself and Paddy". And he ends his night out with a song he and his band members made. The public and the press loved it (hence the newspaper clip here below!). But you can see Paddy doesn´t mind gettin his lighter out to cheer sexy legs models ;-) well he is just a boy ;-) (#157, concert lighter with animation and a T shirt).

Heat Wave Hunt has come to melt away all the snow and make us look forward to spring and sommer love. Hunt started on January 15th and goes on till February 15th so you have plenty of time. Good luck in hunting down the summer sun and fill your closets with bikinis and sommer clothes, nice picnick table, bow and arrows to hunt down your Mr /Mrs Right (if you haven´t cought him already) in time for Valentines Day and the second Love Birds Couple Hunt starting in February ;-)
